Andrew Rowland
Director of Operations
Andrew Rowland
Director of Operations
Andrew has over 20 years' experience in construction, home improvements, and maintenance on both single family and multi-family properties. He began in 1997 flipping houses as a side hobby with a friend, and most recently served as a Director of Operations for a small start-up real estate investment company before striking out on his own to found the Talon Family of Companies.
Andrew's experience ranges from small home improvement maintenance/projects to complete new builds from the foundation to peak of the roof. He has experience not only as a contractor, but in several other fields as well, including being a licensed pest control operator, certified home inspector, and licensed real estate agent. There is hardly a facet of real estate that Andrew hasn't touched! He is also well known for being very hands-on, and is often found in the field working side by side with the rest of the crew. Andrew strives to spend a minimum of 50% of his time in the field and strongly believes in the theory that he will not ask an employee to do something that he hasn't already done or wouldn't do.
Andrew has been awarded an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management. He holds licensure and/or certification as a peace officer, pest control applicator, home inspector, notary public, and real estate salesperson.
In his free time, Andrew likes to spend time working with animals and animal rescue groups, having a soft spot for dogs, particularly hounds and retrievers. He serves as the Director of Maggie's Fund, a non-profit dedicated to helping high risk and medically at-risk strays. He has directly rescued several high risk dogs and indirectly helped rescue countless others, both personally and through Maggie's Fund.
